Mrs. Caroline L. Drollinger, 82, died at the home of her son, Oliver in Sterling, Thursday morning, August 14 1947, after an illness of only a few months. She was the daughter of Almira Booe Caldwell and Abraham Caldwell was born in old Kentuck neighborhood about 3 miles west of Veedersburg May 31 1865. She was the last of a family of twelve children. She was united in marriage to Webster Drollinger in 1885. A member of the Scotts Prairie church and a life long resident of this community. She is survived by eight children, three sons - Cade, Oliver and Harry Drollinger of Veedersburg, Five daughters - Ruth Orme and Magdolene Jones, Danville, Illinois, Myra Bowers of Indianapolis, Velma chapman, Bloomingdale and Avenelle Sanders of Kingman. The body was removed to the Fishero Funeral Home, arrangements were not yet complete. Buried: Bonebrake Cem, Van Buren Twp, Fountain Co IN - kbz
